This Weekend, the SahaLan Global II, a major North African LAN Series, was held at one of the most beautiful cities of Morocco; Ifrane. Hidden in the highest hills of the Atlas Mountain range, this small town hosts Al Akhawayn University (AUI), which is ranked on the World's Top20 Universities.
Well, we can't really say that the weather was on our side, and we got kinda bothered by the rain. Still, a tough rain wasn't enough to get our motivation to scratch.
We received a hell of a welcome from the local admins and some of the students activities responsible. I was assisted by SnK- from eSahara, which also made the coverage for the eSahara.org website.
After putting up a bunch of Q|Posters on the university walls during the Friday evening, and a healthy night of sleep, it was our turn to welcome 200 players/spectators, came from the four corners of the Kingdom. PES players were very nice, and we still keep some sweet memories from the time spent with the local staff, which did an amazing work. The CS was finally won by Profecy, a team from Agadir, while Younami and Overskilled respectively won the PES6 and WC3 events.
Special thanks to KiLi, Nothing, Cru4L, CgR, Lordix, Nipson & GoThiC for their help. Was a huge LAN, hope we'll be there for the next one. Cya!
