----Well 1st of All tanks for the time to this i-view,now could u introduce your self to our readers,and talk a bit about
your gaming History??


My name is Sander Kaasjager, 21 years old, also known in the gaming scene as Vo0. I have played FPS games for god knows how long, and the last few years I have layed an accent on fast paced ones, like CPMA, Painkiller and Warsow. I simply enjoy many aspects of these fast paced dm games more than the slower based ones, like Quake 4 or UT. I played PK professionally and won the MVP of the CPL World
Tour, along with 9 out of 14 tournament wins.



Well what do you think about this new game WarSow and this Cup??


I really enjoy Warsow at this point. There are many new things to be learnt. It's kind of a mix between many games. It has CPMA's style of bunnyhopping and strafejumping, combined with walljumps. You can make the craziest moves some people can't even imagine. I also love the dash. Sometimes I'm lazy and I don't feel like starting my every series of jumps with a circlejump, so I just press dash and start from there.
Dash is also pretty useful for turning around once you hit the ground, you can also really surprise your opponent with this move, or by walljumping on a wall and go to the other side of the room.
The weak and strong ammo's also add an extra dimension to deathmatch, you now have more items to control and some guns are very weak with the weak ammo but rather strong with the strong ammo (riotgun for example).
The cup is just an extra for me :). I like Warsow alot and I enjoy to compete, so simple choice really. Many players signed up for this tournament, but unfortunately also many no-shows which was to be expected. Many people just sign up for the heck of it and don't bother to play any of their matches.

Yeah soo,it´s the perfect game,but with some things to improve ?


There is no perfect game. Every game has room to improve. There never will be a perfect game, also for the simple reason that every one has different views on what a perfect game is. Some call Quake 3 the perfect game, some call Quakeworld the perfect game, some call UT the perfect game, whatever. There are many things I'd like to see changed, thought, starting off with the EB. We are 8 years after the introduction of the railgun (strong eb = rail),
yet we are still using it for a 100 damage gun. I mean, 8 years ago we used ball mice, we had 100ms pings, we had crappy mousemats, we had crappy computers, etc. Nowadays we have top mice, top mousepads, really fast computers, lan pings, max fps. It's much easier nowadays to hit a rail than it was 8 years ago. That is why I am in heavy favor of reducing the
EB damage to a lower value, something like 80. Yes, even strong. Although the reduction of strong/weak ammo was a good gameplay decision as well, I would really like to see the EB damage reduced (not only in this game, I hate the rail in q4 too).
Then there's the grenade launcher which kinda feels weird, I don't really know what to say of it. The plasmagun is fine, it's pretty useable on some maps. Riotgun with strong ammo is pretty powerful, and also quite important on maps like wtest3 for example.
I'd like to see better rockets. And by better I mean more dynamic. Dynamic like in Q1. The rocket have hardly any knockback now, like Q2, but I'd really like to see some cool and hectic rocket fights where people fly all over the place (not to be taken too litterally). I would be just in favor for more knockback with or either weak or strong rockets.



You got two "easy" wins on the Group stage,what player do you fear to meet in playoffs,and why??


I fear no one. I really don't know many of the players competing in this tournament, except a few like tom, ddk, Xhep, infamous, etc. I think most of the people fear me when I play an official match against them.



What is your Main Goal to this Cup??(Stupid Question)


I will try to win, ofcourse!



Regarding the question above,you fear no one,but was there someone that you don´t want to face until the final for example??


I hope the two best players of this tournament will meet in the final so that the final is gonna be the best game in the whole tournament, like it should be. :)



What do you think about the rest of the divisions,Predictions to them??Anyone that deserved to be on Div1??



Hmm, maybe LuGia should be in div1. I mean, he is currently #1 on the Warsow 1on1 ladder. I played him many times in CPMA and I am pretty sure he will be top contender. His aim is extraordinary and as soon as he really starts to learn how to play duel he will be very good. Victim can come to the first division as well :)
But you can't really blame anyone, it is so hard to organize a tournament for 300+ people, and when everyone has to rank theirselves etc, it becomes kind of messy.

I really have no idea but I am going to put myself on the 1st spot. I think tom and xhep will do quite well, and lugia is not in my division so I might not have a chance to play him.

Do You think Next OC´s(we Hope warsow go to OC´s) will be more close games,that this HC,and with less noshows, what do you expect to the Warsow Future??Possible EuroCup?


An open cup would be cool, maybe more interested people would sign up. And I mean people who actually play their games :). A eurocup would be cool too, but for now, let's just take things slowly and concentrate on this tournament.



I read some things that you were planing on leaving pro-gaming,what can you tell me about that??


It's all on www.fnatic.com, all is to be read there. It's not planning anymore, the decision is already made. I am no longer a part of fnatic and I no longer play tournament games for money, and have no intentions in playing Quake 4 (the current pro-game), so the conclusion we get from that is that I am no longer a professional gamer.



Any Future Plans regarding Gaming?? Do you leave a clause to be back to Pro-Gaming,or is it a final decision?


I can be back. It depends on a few things, like how much do I have to spend on my new studies, what game they choose for big tournaments, how much money is involved (also one of the reasons for not playing this year), etc. I don't really count myself out yet, so.




What do You Think is needed to a more proffessional gaming??


I really liked the idea of the world tour in 2005, it was great, and all the players loved it, meeting new people across the world, going to all these places. It also felt like a league, because there was a ranking system (MVP) for seedings, and then there was a final. The prize money for the final was a bit over the top, but I'm not complaining :).
Many players could make a living last year, they could live like a professional gamer. Their sole winnings from tournaments were enough for them to live off from. This is an important part. Also, the coverage should really be better at some events. Coverage is one of the most important things, people love to follow events from home with video footage.
Texted coverage is just bad. Everyone wants to see the game or the players, no one likes to read numbers while they could be watching the actual game itself. Ofcourse for online tournament this isn't possible, but for big tournaments it's very important.
The marketing for the world tour could have been a little bit better, the website wasn't really anything good. On some big sports sites you see the players and what they have achieved and personal profiles and so on, they should have done that for the world tour in 2005.
All in all there's still many things to improve, but these are just my quick views on it at the moment.

Prefer Weapon??


I enjoy to use the strong lasergun, but it's not the best weapon. The best weapon is the EB strong, too powerful ;(. Riotgun strong is fun too. In fact, I enjoy using all weapons when I have the strong ammo for it. :)

Prefered Map??


I enjoy wdm1 and wdm2 the most. wdm1 is a very slow and tactical map, sometimes I can just read my opponent's mind and know exactly where he is and where he will be going on that map. wdm2 is a fast and small map with not much room for error. Hard to regain control and the EB is very powerful.


On the i-View that i made to nVc he made a prediction of the CB 1on1 WarSow Final nVc 40/-1 vo0 , what to do a different one?:)


Haha, I don't quite think so ;). Good prediction, you know, who knows, maybe we will meet :)


Expectations to World Cup, Was Portugal a Fair Winner VS Netherlands??


No one was a fair winner, the game was a joke, both teams behaved like idiots and very unprofessional. Portugal was the winner because they did score a nice goal and Netherlands wasn't able to score (too bad Cocu :'() but both teams played #OOPS#ty. The referee ruined another match. The second half was merely a display of who was the best actor on the field, and way too much time was cut away from holland to come back by portugese players who try to consume time.
It's the sad direction football is going, players just try to consume time and force referees to make bad calls.
